Founder and Director

Nathan founded STAR PMCA and STAR PM SERVICES in 2019 to provide a unique project management service to the construction sector in Australia. After more than 25 years experience in the industry, he knew that clients don’t want purely off-the-shelf solutions, but solutions that blend the best of standard industry practice with a unique, tailored, and people-focused solution.

With his specialist project management experience combined with his architectural training and background, Nathan brings a unique blend of knowledge and experience to his clients and projects, including direct design and delivery experience with heritage listed buildings in Australia and England.

Key Project Experience

Project Director: Ryde Central. ($110M+) Project Management delivery lead for ECI and D&C delivery of a new Civic Centre Council building and 700 seat community and culture centre for the City of Ryde, Sydney.
Project Director: Eastwood Central. External advisor for business case and project management delivery of a strategic city centre redevelopment for the City of Ryde, Sydney
Project Director: Hendra Medical Centre. Client representative from design to construction completion, providing full project management services throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Design Manager: Toowoomba Base Hospital. ($1B+) Delivering the strategic planning and programming for the detailed business case for Building Queensland, including drafting 30+ scopes of work in eight packages for the design team.
Portfolio Director: Lutheran Residential Services Aged Care Redevelopment. ($500M) Strategic portfolio director for the portfolio managers office of the Lutheran Services Phase 1 redevelopment program concurrently delivering 15 aged care and retirement living projects across 11 sites.
Senior Project Manager: Project Lift, International Terminal Building, Gold Coast Airport. ($300M) Strategic lead for the alignment of the construction staging of masterplan works for the new international terminal, refurbishment of existing international/domestic terminals, airside apron and bay stand configurations, and vehicle transport landside works. Lead tender value management negotiations that resulted in $80m savings.
